About Waters Edge Docks & More
A dock builder on Lake Granbury, out of Granbury in Hood County, Texas. Cody owns and runs it. Thirteen customers have reviewed the work on Google and every one of them gave it five stars.
Who you are dealing with
Waters Edge Docks & More builds and repairs docks on Lake Granbury. Cody owns and runs the company, and he is the one who answers the phone, comes out to look at the water and puts the number on paper. What the reviews keep coming back to is that you get the whole process explained before you commit to anything.
That is the thing worth knowing about this company, and it is not us saying it — it is what the customers who left reviews chose to write about. What we build on the lake
Six kinds of job, and all of them are on or over the water. Each one is laid out in detail on the services page.
- Covered boat docks and boat slips

- Shoreline walkways and lakeside decks
- Dock repair, re-decking and replacement

Two things we would rather be straight about
The stone walls are not ours. Some of our walkways run alongside stone retaining walls, and those walls were already there when we arrived. We built the walkway beside them. Do not look at our photos and assume shoreline stabilization is part of the job.
Permits are the Authority's business, not a line on a web page. Lake Granbury is a Brazos River Authority reservoir, and shoreline construction on it is governed by the Authority. Call Cody about your particular site and he will explain the ins and outs of it rather than guess at it here.
Everything this website shows is dock and shoreline-access work. If you want something that is not on the services page, the name says “& More” for a reason — ask.
